復活

今天的經文告訴我們，拉撒路死了，耶穌感到悲傷，因為拉撒路是祂的朋友。 　耶穌去到伯大尼並讓拉撒路從死裡復活，當耶穌這麼做時，祂施展了超越肉體死亡的大能。但在這些經節裡，耶穌也說到，祂同時擁有超越靈魂死亡的大能：「我就是復活，就是生命。信我的人，雖然死了，仍然要活著；活著信我的人一定永遠不死。」 (第25b-26a節) 　在現今，看見有人從死復活也許是一件奇妙的事情，但我認為，當上帝接受了一個在靈性上已死的人，赦免他並使他在耶穌裡成為一個新造的人，是更加奇妙的事情。 　當耶穌死在十架上時，祂為我們跟上帝間有合宜的關係開闢了一條新的道路。因著我們可以被赦免並與祂同享永生，你要讚美上帝！ —BL 「馬大回答：『主啊，是的！我信你就是那要到世上來的基督，是上帝的兒子。』」 約翰福音11:27 禱告：上帝，祢的救贖計劃是如此奇妙，謝謝祢。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

Our Bible verses today tell us that Lazarus had died. Jesus was sad, because Lazarus was His friend. 　Jesus went to Bethany and raised Lazarus from the dead. When Jesus did this, He showed His power over physical death. But in these verses, Jesus also said that He had power over spiritual death. “I am the resurrection. I am the life. Everyone who believes in me will have life, even if they die. And everyone who lives and believes in me will never really die” (verses 25b-26a). 　It would be wonderful to see someone raised from the dead today. But I think it is even more wonderful when God takes a person who is spiritually dead, forgives him and makes him a new person in Jesus. 　When Jesus died on the cross, He made a way for us to have a right relationship with God.
