今天經文的第1節告訴我們要讚美上帝。在今天和明天的靈修文章中，我們要來行這詩篇的作者所建議的事情──因著上帝信實的愛，我們要讚美祂！人間的愛並不完全，人們會彼此愛上對方，但也會停止愛對方。有時候，人們會選擇只愛那些先向他們表達愛的人，但是上帝的愛不同，第11節告訴我們：「耶和華喜愛敬畏他和盼望他慈愛的人。」 「上帝的愛是信實的」，這句話是什麼意思呢？意思就是上帝對我們的愛永不止息。上帝的愛保護我們、鼓勵我們，在困難的時候，祂的愛帶給我們安慰和幫助。上帝的愛總是留心聆聽我們的禱告，並且按著祂的旨意來回應我們的禱告。此外，上帝的愛幫助我們遠離罪惡和試探。 因著上帝信實的愛，今天你務必要謝謝祂，並且因著上帝用祂的愛充滿你的生命而讚美祂。 —GT 「上主的話真實；他的作為可靠。 他喜愛正義公平；他的慈愛充滿大地。」 詩篇33:4-5

God’s Faithful Love (1)

Verse 1 of our Bible Reading tells us to praise God. In the devotions for today and tomorrow, we will do what the writer of this psalm suggests — we will praise God for His faithful love! Human love is not perfect. People fall in love with each other and then they fall out of love. And sometimes people choose to only love people who show them love first. But God’s love is different. Verse 11 tells us, “The Lord enjoys people who worship him and trust in his faithful love.” What does it mean that God’s love is faithful? It means that God’s love for us never fails. God’s love protects and encourages us. His love brings us comfort and help during difficult times. God’s love always pays attention to our prayers and answers them according to His will. And God’s love helps us stay away from sin and temptation. Be sure to thank God today for His faithful love. And praise Him for filling your life with His love. —GT “The Lord’s word is true, and he is faithful in everything he does. He loves goodness and justice. The Lord’s faithful love fills the earth.” Psalm 33:4-5
