上帝的兒女
聖經閱讀：以弗所書1:3-6 現代中譯本|合和本

當家畜在生產的過程中喪命，農場主人必須找方法保住剛出生小動物的生命，有時候另外一隻動物媽媽會把這些小動物當作是自己的兒女，她會餵養這些小動物，像自己的兒女一樣照顧牠們。
在認識耶穌之前，我們活在罪中、跟上帝隔絶，但是當我們跟隨並遵從耶穌之後，祂就赦免了我們的罪。然後上帝接受我們、讓我們成為祂的兒女，賜給我們祂屬靈的祝福。今天經文閱讀的第5節說：「上帝愛我們，預先決定藉著耶穌基督使我們歸屬於他，使我們有作他兒女的名份；這是他所喜悅的，是他的旨意。」
這不是很奇妙嗎？上帝希望我們成為祂的兒女，祂要賜給我們美好的事物。上帝希望我們稱呼祂「天父」，就算你跟屬世的父親沒有良好的關係，你仍然可以跟上帝有一個永恆的關係。

God's Children
Bible Reading: Ephesians 1:3-6

　When a farm animal dies while giving birth, the farmer must find a way to keep the baby animal alive. Sometimes another mother animal will accept the baby as her own. She will feed the baby and take care of it just like it was her own. Before we know Jesus, we live in sin. We are separated from God. But when we follow and obey Jesus, He forgives our sins. Then God accepts us and makes us His children and gives us His spiritual blessings. Verse 5 of our Bible Reading says, “And before the world was made, God decided to make us his own children through Jesus Christ. That was what God wanted, and it pleased him to do it.” Isn't that wonderful? God wants us to be His children. He wants to give us good things. God wants us to call Him “Father.” Even if you do not have a good relationship with your earthly family, you can have an eternal relationship with God. I am one of God's children.
