有一次在領受主聖餐的時候，我看見旁邊有一位女士，在領聖餐之前，她低頭禱告。當她吃餅、喝那杯時，她的眼眶裡含著淚水。
這提醒了我，聖餐是一段非常莊嚴的時間。在今天的經文閱讀中，保羅教導哥林多的基督徒有關聖餐的一些事情，在第27和28節，保羅說：「所以，無論誰，要是不用敬虔的心吃主的餅，喝主的杯，他就冒犯了主的身體和血。每一個人必須先省察自己，然後吃這餅，喝這杯。」

主聖餐對你來說是一段莊嚴的時間嗎？當你領受聖餐時，你是否想著禮拜結束後要做的事？或者想著坐在旁邊的人？或是你想著生命中的罪，以及耶穌如何受死來赦免你的罪並拯救你？ —ECW

Serious Time
Bible Reading: 1 Corinthians 11:23-29

It was time for the Lord's Supper to be served. I watched a woman near me. She bowed her head and prayed before she took the Lord's Supper. As she ate the bread and drank from the cup, she had tears in her eyes.
This reminded me that the Lord's Supper is a very serious time. In our Bible verses today, Paul taught the Christians in Corinth some things about the Lord's Supper. In verses 27 and 28 Paul said, “So if you eat the bread or drink the cup of the Lord in a way that does not fit its meaning, you are sinning against the body and the blood of the Lord. Before you eat the bread and drink the cup, you should examine your own attitude.”

Is the Lord's Supper a serious time for you? When you eat the Lord's Supper, are you thinking about what you will do after church or thinking about the people who are sitting next to you? Or are you thinking about the sin in your life and how Jesus died to forgive your sins and save you? —ECW

“This means that every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are telling others about the Lord’s death until he comes again.” 1 Corinthians 11:26
