聖潔
聖經閱讀：帖撒羅尼迦前書4:1-8 現代中譯本|合和本

　每一天我們都可以在廣告招牌、電視、網路，甚至在服裝店裡看到一些淫亂的例子，隨著時間的過去，人們越來越接受聖經中說的錯誤行為。
在今天的經文閱讀中，保羅談到如何取悅上帝，他對於淫亂，也就是聖經對婚姻的計劃之外的性行為，有很多的教導。保羅在這些經節中用了一些強烈的字眼，第8節說：「所以那拒絕這種教導的，不是拒絕人，而是拒絕那賜聖靈給你們的上帝。」
上帝說，性關係上的聖潔是很重要的，所以我們也應當把這個看為重要。上帝希望所有信祂的人都要避免淫行並成為聖潔，如果你正掙扎著持守聖潔，就求上帝幫助你明白祂的話語，祂會幫助你控制你的身體來榮耀祂。—EP*

　Every day we can see examples of sexual impurity on billboards, TV, the Internet and even in clothing stores. As time goes by, people have become more accepting of behavior that the Bible says is wrong.
In our Bible verses today, Paul talks about how to please God. He had a lot to say about sexual immorality — sexual behavior that is outside the Biblical plan for marriage. Paul uses some strong words in these verses. Verse 8 says, “So anyone who refuses to obey this teaching is refusing to obey God, not us. And God is the one who gives you his Holy Spirit.”
God says that sexual purity is very important. So we should think it is important, too. God wants all believers to avoid sexual immorality and be pure. If you are struggling with keeping yourself pure, ask God to help you understand His Word. He will help you control your body and give Him glory. —EP*

“God wants you to be holy. He wants you to stay away from sexual sins. God wants each one of you to learn to control your own body. Use your body in a way that is holy and that gives honor to God.” 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4
