你現在是坐著的嗎？當坐下的時候，你相不相信你的椅子會撐住你？你應該是相信的，因為那椅子從以前就一直能負荷你的體重，你是毫無疑惑地信任它。 　在我們的生命中也有一位是我們可以完全信任的，那就是耶穌！今天的經文談到耶穌，在第16節中，上帝這樣宣告耶穌的到來，祂說：「我要在錫安建立堅強穩固的基礎，在那裏安放貴重的基石，上面刻著字，說：『有信心的人必然堅定不移』。」 　上帝賜下耶穌作為我們生命的根基，耶穌就像那張能撐住我們的椅子──我們可以永遠信任祂會幫助我們。耶穌從過去到現在一直都是可以倚靠的，而今後也會永遠一樣。 　今天，我希望你能將生命完全交託給耶穌，祂一定不會讓你失望，你可以永遠信任祂！—GT 「耶穌又對他們說：『你們心裏不要愁煩；要信上帝，也要信我。』」 約翰福音14:1 禱告：親愛的上帝，我倚靠耶穌，我願祂成為我生命的根基。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (SSL譯/台南聖教會英語團契)

Trust Your Chair

Are you sitting down right now? When you sat down, did you believe that your chair would hold you up? Probably you did, because that chair has supported your weight in the past. You trusted it without question. 　We have someone in life that we can trust completely — Jesus! Today’s Bible Reading talks about Jesus. Verse 16 says that He is a “rock — a cornerstone — in the ground in Zion. This will be a very precious stone. Everything will be built on this very important rock. Anyone who trusts in that rock will not be disappointed.” 　God gave us Jesus to be the foundation for our lives. Jesus is like the chair that supports us — we can always trust Him to help us. Jesus has always been dependable in the past, and He will always be the same. 　I hope you are trusting Jesus with your life today. He will never disappoint you or let you down.
