星象家 (3)

　今天我們要繼續來談星象家。經文閱讀的第11節告訴我們：「星象家進了屋子，看見小孩子和他的母親馬利亞，就俯伏朝拜這孩子，然後打開寶盒，拿出黃金、乳香、沒藥等禮物獻給他。」
星象家是有很有學問的人，而且也很富有，他們一定很有錢才能夠獻上這麼貴重的禮物給耶穌，有趣的是，這些有學問又富有的人卻「俯伏」敬拜一個嬰孩，他們一定滿有智慧才知道耶穌是配得他們的尊榮、敬重和崇拜，他們也一定夠聰明才知道要在祂面前謙卑下拜。
我禱告求你和我都能學像這幾位星象家一樣，我盼望我們能明白耶穌配得我們的頌讚、愛慕和敬拜。今天就讓我們在耶穌基督面前謙卑自己，敬拜祂、愛慕祂！ —GT

Wise Men (3)
Bible Reading: Matthew 2:1-12

Today we will continue talking about the wise men. Verse 11 of our Bible Reading tells us, “The wise men came to the house where the child was with his mother Mary. They bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened the boxes of gifts they had brought for him. They gave him treasures of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.”
The wise men were well-educated men. They were also wealthy. They had to be wealthy in order to give such expensive gifts to Jesus. But it is interesting that these educated and wealthy men “bowed down” and worshiped a young child. These men were wise enough to know that Jesus was worthy of their honor, respect and worship. They were also wise enough to humbly bow before Him.
I pray that you and I will be like these wise men. I hope that we will recognize that Jesus is worthy of our praise, adoration and worship. Let’s humble ourselves before Jesus Christ and worship and adore Him today! —GT
